Children of our camps have many psychological ,social and environmental problems. But Circuna gave them the hope by giving them the secure space to express themselves in they way they want to be and to bee seen. Circuna offering a psycho-social help for the beneficiaries children or adults at the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Many people say that laughing cure many illnesses especially psychological ones . During most of our tours we heard children loud laughter from the depth of their hearts , tiny hands clapping as they had never clapped before and the most interesting thing is when we look at them we see open wide eyes and opened mouth as if it is the first time they see such things such amazing things ,and in the end of the show they ask enthusiastically if we are coming back again.
As for the social treatment Circuan makes our children a part of this project . Now all Circuna team are training children in all over the camps of Lebanon , and the most interesting things is that all the organizations that we are working in it are so proud of us and of the children cause many children had changed a lot since the beginning of the training , hyper active children became more controlled , manipulated children became more calm ,shy children became courageous ,defensive became more secure ,and more of the changes that the parents sees on their children behavior . part of our work is to do performances , When we have shows and not be able to train the children they ask us if we are not coming back ,They get sad if we stop training them because of a show or training or may be a Day off ,but we will be very Sad if we the project stopped one day but we already proud of the achievements of Circuna Palestine, our children and our selves.

Shows, tour, future

Gruppen kom till premiär, åkte på tvådagarsturné, spelade i landsortsskolor och byar och ombads alltid komma tillbaks snart.
Akrogruppen hade premiär i sin bykyrka, med nysydda kostymer och nysnickrade styltor, etc.
Martin från gruppen visionerade modigt och klokt och jag mötte YWCA i Mombasa och Nairobi och hoppas ha lagt grunden för en fortsättning. Det behövs så lite pengar för att kunna göra så mycket.
Nu är jag i Sverige, men den 24 mars åker jag ner igen, på eget bevåg!

Näst sista dagen…

Näst sista dagen på clownkurs. Två månader har gått. Av skratt och gråt. Av energi och extrem trötthet. Av komprimerad liv och död. Tolv människoöden har flätats samman och slitits isär av krafter vi inte kan veta om de ska kallas slump eller öde.
Idag städar vi upp vår egen skit. Vårt slit har samlats i dammråttor över gympasalen. Snorpapper och fjädrar huserar i hörnen. Det är en konstig stämning. Uppbrott i luften. Ett något som får oss att krypa närmre. Att kramas lite hårdare och att samtidigt inta lunchen medan vi i tystnad tittar ut över den översnöade gården.
I övermorgon bär det av mot subtopia, vår slutredovisning och armageddon…! alla är sketanervösa och vill nog döda sina clowner idag. Men samtidigt ska det bli så fantastiskt! Att få dela all den ångest och glädje vi har samlat på oss denna tid. Och göra det som det egentigen handlar om – att möta människor.
Så, vi ses där hoppas vi!
